First Move Help

Hello people and thanks for an advice in advance.

I work in a local supermarket (in the restaurant) and have recently noticed a girl which works over in another department who has taken my fancy quite a lot. However I can't help keep thinking that she is miles out of my league. I'm not ugly or anything and often get complimented on my looks (probably lies lol) but this girl is stunning (the type of modest stunning not slutty). In past relationships I've often had the first move made on me so I really need help on how to get talking to her without looking like a muppet. Working in my department I'm largely cut off from the rest of the store which makes it harder to do anything. When I see her we often smile at each other but I just lose all courage. What can I do except ask her where the bloody frozen peas are!

Errr, im trying to put myself in the girls situation and think what id want you to do.
Tell one of her friends or someone she knows/works with to mention that u think she's nice, and to ask her if she'd mind you having her number. Bit immature but saves red faces all round!

Can you not chat to her on your breaks / in the lunch room?

I see it as though you have 2 options - to get to know her, then ask her out or just go up to her and ask her out. With the first way, you will get to see if it is more than just her looks you are interested in, but she may get taken in the meantime. Also you may get stuck in the firend catagory. With the second way, she won't get taken whilst you play friends, and if it turns out you aren't compatable in a relationship (but you may be good friends), you can downgrad easy. Also, if she says no straight out, you won't waste time playing friends, or keeping alive the hope for more. I'd go with the second option, but that maybe harder to do for some people out of the blue, so maybe you can get some friends to help?

go tell her your interested!! ffs she might be thinking the same about you! ask her if she wants to go out for a drink after work or something casual. the worst that can happen is that you get turned down.
