starting a conversation with a girl in a club?/chat up lines
has anyone got any good conversation starters. when i go out to clubs i find it really easy to have a flowing conversation with someone once i have been introduced, but whats the best thing to say to a girl to spark a conversation? other than "can i buy you a drink" or "are you that bird of hollyoaks".

Well it doesnt start with would like you a drink, theres a bit of an introduction first =p
And the best way to find out if a girls interested or not, if they're not they usually won't accept the drink, unless you're going for a drunken hooligan, in which case they won't care about conversation anyway

Argh no creepiness or chat up lines for me please! Chat-up lines will probably get a dodgy look, a laugh, or no reply from me. I prefer it when people comment on the song playing and ask what I think of it - I'm most in rock clubs so this often turns into conversations about how much we love certain bands. As I have a bf, I prefer this as it allows you to make aquaintances instead of having to just reject someones come-ons. This approach still was better when I was single but I'd usually just go up to people myself instead of waiting for them to come to me!
But if you say chat up lines jokingly, like you know they're cheesy, then it can be quite funny, I like a cheeky chappy

I'm not joking, it actually works a treat, I've used it loads of times, that said, it either goes 2 ways, they're either stunned that you've got the balls to say sommit so ridiculous or realise its a joke, either way, win-win
I was being sincere don't worry =p thats what I meant by cheesy chat up lines are fine, as long as you aren't being serious.
Make us laugh and you're in there. One that worked quite well on me was 'hi, I'm the **** of the group', which turned out be true, but he was very funny!
