weird shaving question

Guys wondered if anyone could give me some advice; been trying to grow sideburns for a while, they were looking cool. Every so often they need a 'tidy up' (which normally involves me asking an adult for help). It appears that 'tidy up' means a different thing in my dad's dictionary -ie cutting them from 3 to 0.5 inches. He always says he'll leave the length and he doesn't; plus when he does it i cannot see what he is doing, so i cannot stop him. Plus now there bushier growing 3 inches back and keeping the rest in sync isnt easy.

How do l get around this, any advice?

A beard trimmer is ideal for sideys. Or get a Barber to do them.

Read the instruction manual?

Use the shortest setting to shape the sideburns (or a razor); use one of the longer settings to keep the sideburn itself at the right length (start with the longest and work back).

So many times in H&R i have to use these 4 words:
l have a disability

IE, I need an 'able-bodied' hand to help with the trimmer

Sorry you have to keep repeating yourself in here, but not many people will read every thread and even fewer will take in everything they read in all the threads (it's a very big board).

So even if you've aid this before, it is very unlikely many people actually know, or actually remember it in relation to your name

As for your problem, could you do what someone said and ask the person who cuts your hair to sort them out? I assume it ain't your Dad who cuts you're hair...but if it is, you could always try to go to someone else.

Failing this, all you need to do is make sure your Dad isn't the one you ask to cut them. Maybe a friend or other family meber could be ask.

I just get them taken care of when I go in for a hair cut.

LOOK, isnt it clear that any student that posts under the name of a Groundhogs' song has some pretty complex problems!?????

Yeah, i totally understand, i'm fine saying i have a disability its just feels very odd to start every post with 'i have a disability...'. We need a S******'s Society.......Ooooh, i'm so un-pc!! LOL Did you know that was Scope's name originally?
