Depends where you live... if you're a UK resident then yes, contraception is free, but if you live elsewhere in Europe you may have to pay.

if you're in full time education and younger than 18 i think,you're given free prescriptions as long as you're signed up with the NHS

Nope, its always free, theres a check box on the back of the prescription that has an option for free contraception

It says like 'I have been prescribed free of charge contraception by my doctor'

You must go to docs for prescription, then to pharmacy to fill it.
Pay a bit more attention next time you'll see a 'free of charge contraception' box too.

go to family planning clinic- its free and u just drop in and get it
