By the sounds of it it'd just be better organising a new one, without the whole 'Mr White is God' thing going on, then... I mean, if people are unhappy with something (which judging by a certain thread they are), then they might as well try and do something about it... Oh, I don't know... Someone else do the work :hmpf:
Can I be God now?

Or better, can I be Mr. White?

Can I be God now?
If you start your own version, and get people to worship you, then it just might happen

I don't even get that. Sire started the GL. How did Whitey take over?
Sire left soon after starting it but Whitey kept the member list going for him and was seen as many to to be the leader.

Ohh, what it would be like if Mr. White would once again rise out of the shadows and lead the forum like he used to. I know he's still about... kinda.

After the old GL, I don't see the point of having a new one. Perhaps a society with similar goals (promoting intelligent discussion) would be good, but I never did like the idea of a "League"; it suggests elitism and competition.

Ahh, does anyone remember The Way? Well, that's just a bit before the time I was a real regular on here.

He didn't really lead the forum...

He gave the impression he did.

How does one lead the forum? I once had a revolution, but White ended it, quite simply though becoming a mod.

Hmmph, but how many times did he bugger off in a strop?

I remember that time he did last Spring, and he hung around on hidden mode repping people

Ooooo, I could catch him if he's on invisible now.

When here he was a good poster, I mean, seemed pretty funny.

Ah you're too young to remember him

He was cool... controversial, but also a dude. Also arrogant. But sometimes friendly.

Around December 2003 he was practically the prominent member on the whole forum.

Nah man, I remember him, he was around for a while when I was. We talked to eachother a bit and I think he was witty. He used loads of long words which usually makes me think they're being a pretentious, arrogant show off but he did it really naturally so it worked. He was one of those people who you could tell was telling the truth when he talked about the grades he got, unlike a lot of people here.

Anyways, maybe he should drop back in.

Pfft, only one has been OFFICIALLY found out, but I'm sure many of these "yeah I got AAAAAAAA at AS, and I'm preidcted full marks in every A2 module" people are fibbing, or at best exaggerating.
