I'm trying to look for examples of political opportunism in Hamlet. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm really struggling...

Political opportunism- Claudius murdering King Hamlet in order to gain the throne for himself (regicide; look for the quote with the word "usurp" in, forget where it is), Polonius creeping to Claudius in order to achieve his own desire, Fortinbras taking his army to Denmark, (maybe he sees the recently crowned Claudius as weak?), there is a lot, don't just think in terms of straight politics, think in terms of what politcs actually means, and you will soon find many many examples, other than those stated above! Hope that helps
