I didn't really consider St. Andrews up until a few months ago, but I'm really liking the look of this course. I'm an international student, which means money for them, and I'm rounding up (the equivalent of) a BA in Political Science from what they apparently consider to be an "excellent" university with a predicted 3.9 GPA. I have an 8.5 on the IELTS (sadly), I'll have 2 great letters of recommendation, slight work experience, possibly a piece of published work and the St. Andrews recruiters I met with in February loved me so much they still pester me over e-mail from time to time about whether I'm actually going to apply or not next year (I still have a year to go on my degree).

What are my chances? Is anyone here doing this course? Do you like it?

    Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, it seems pretty dead. I might give it a go, though Thanks!

I would give it a go on the main board or maybe the advice section if I were you. You're right, the IR section is pretty dead.
