Any advice on Resits, because I have to resit unit 1 and 2 in Chemistry, would it be better if I do Unit 1+2 in January along with Unit 4, or Unit 1/2 in January along with Unit 4, which one would help towards Unit 4, in other words?

Well, it's my first time doing Unit 4 aswell, but if you do Unit 1 and 2 with unit 4 in January, you will get another chance to redo it in June, but that will pile up resits and put you under more pressure.=/

Definitely do both in my opinion, thats what i did and especially unit 2 because after doing unit 4 unit 2 seems far easier. Just make sure you concentrate on unit 4 as it is far more important like dont spend too much time revising for unit 1.

Biology Maths :/ You?

Finding Biology alright, maths is ok but it's just a pain with the amount of work we get.

heyyy resitter here :smile:

did chem4 in jan12, got a low D
and jun12, got a high C,(83/120)
so following the pattern i better get an A this time :wink:

3rd time lucky!
oh and i'm also resitting unit 2 (got 119/140 last time) which I know is an A, but just to boost my marks - need 23 ums

for people talking about other units, unit2 and 4 go really well together. i would leave unit 1 until summer if i were you.

We've covered Kinetics, Equilibria; Acids, bases and buffers, and Nomenclature and Isomerism in Organic Chemistry. Quite enjoying CHEM4 so far, and I've not really felt any step up from AS as yet.

Wow, we're still on acids...then again, last year was the same and we did 3 units in 5 lessons
