Text Harassment
Argh I'm getting well annoyed now.
Some guy spent all day trying to ring me (10 missed calls) and then sent me over 45 messages last night between 10pm and 5am!!!
Now, after I got the first message (saying he was in love with me) I text back to say - Sorry mate, you've got the wrong number. Because I was 98% it was not anybody I knew!! But he kept texting.
Its weird, I'm sure I havent given my number out to anyone, or that he knows me.. but it seems as though he does.. but maybe I'm just being paranoid!
Anyway the texts are still coming in.. one every 10 mins or so, and I havent sent one back other than that one I sent yesterday. But now they are getting more obscene.. and I have noooo idea what to do!
I'm ignoring them.. thats the right thing to do right? I'm getting really freaked out!!

Is he leaving a phone number, if so call the police or your network provider. If he isn't and the calls continue then the poilce can trace the number
Maybe he was random texing, this is where someone will dial/ text a random number to see if they get a reaction!!!, such peolpe are usually sad , lonely wierdos!!!, If I were you I would delete the texts as soon as they arrive and if they keep coming I would definitely phone my service provider and change my number pronto!!!!!.

Report him to the police. The fact that the texts are become obscene does mean it is sexual harrasment. It's pretty much the same as cold-calling, and the police will treat it as such.

Do you have bluetooth on your phone? Is it switched on, if so switch it off. If this person is not leaving a number and you are sure you have not given your number to anyone, the only way i can think of that this person could contact you is via bluetooth.
Yeah ignore them, do not reply! Ring up your network customer services and get the number barred from your phone so that you cant receieve anymore messages or calls from him. Even if it is someone you know it's creepy...

But that would mean the person is really close by...ouch that's even more scary!! Bluetooth only works within close distances...like within a room or something...
