No, not really.

Unless your university only allows you to apply for accommodation *after* you have accepted them as your firm/insurance offer - in which case you want to accept them ASAP so you can secure decent accommodation where you'll be spending one entire year in.

Also the earlier you accept your offers, the sooner you can begin administrative tasks like applying for a student visa (if you're an intl student) or student finance.
