A friend of mine who's doing the IB asked me for help with a problem but I'm completely stuck. If anyone could give me a hand, that'd be great.
The problem is:
Find the points of intersection of y=x^2cosx and x+2y=1.
Thanks in advance,

You're gonna have to find them numerically. Also note that there are infinitely many points of intersection.

Is that y = (x^2)*2cosx or x^(2cosx)? cheers
