Everytime I start my PC and log into my personal area (I'm using Windows XP) this one folder opens everytime I log in. Is there something that I can do to stop this folder opening everytime I log in, because I don't use it, I don't want to see what's in it, and I have no interest in it at all! But it's always there waiting for me!!!

    Any help would be appreciated.

have a look in the list of programs that start up when windows starts. Go to Run, type msconfig and click the start up tab. If it is in the list uncheck the box next to it.

Let me know if that works

    Have you tried looking in

    C:\Documents and Settings\All users\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp

    or

    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp

What's the name of the folder?

Try going to Start > Run > type "regedit"

go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > click on "Run" and look for the value in the right hand pane and if it's there right click the key and delete it. You should be careful in the registry.

Make sure you backup the registry before deleting anything

Go to File | Export and 'Export All'
