help with maths AS

im having trouble with surds and rationalising the denominator.
what is 1 divided by 1+Root3, and how do you get the answer..
and 1 divided by 3- root7..
Any help is appreciated asap thankss :smile: xxx

1. Multiply the top and bottom by 1 - root 3 and see what you get.

2. Multiply the top and bottom by 3 + root 7 and see what you get.
