Yeah they are accurate - im at UWE at the moment and it is brilliant. The course is really well structured, tutors are really good and willing to help and its been a really fun course - although slightly stressful (but theyre all like that!).

Most employers don't really care so long as you pass.

The ratings are accurate, because they are given during Law Society grading visits - at least the LPC ones are ... no idea about the BVC.

If you look onthe LawSoc website you can download the grading report and read the comments. It's very useful.

im doing the LPC right now at UWE

The best place to do the BVC is the Inns of Court School of Law at City University.

UWE is really good. Ive had a great year so far doing the LPC. Dont get me wrong, it is hard work, but the course is hard wherever you go - it is alot different from Llb degree work. Its been really tough at times but ive hung on in there, lol!

It deserves every bit of its excellent rating - the course is well organised, the tutors are really willing to help and careers advice etc is brill.

They say the LPC is a 9-5 course - and that is true - i would say its more than 9-5 to be honest! At UWE we had pretty much every friday off in the first term, and some mornings and afternoons too. The timetable is split into 3 hour workshops which you have in your "base room" - with your group - stays the same for the first term - and 1 hour lectures - normally 2-3 a week.

This term though weve been doing our elective subjects and its alot less stressful - some weeks i have 2 whole days off and in the other weeks i have a day off and a 2-3 afternoons - so its cool.
