I'm taking a year out and applying for linguistics for 2007 entry. In my year out I am finishing off one A level - psychology. This means that I cannot travel abroad or even across the country in my gap year because I will be spending 5 hours a week at school.
Does anybody have any ideas of things I could do in my year out to enhance a linguistics ps?
    Thanks, any comments appreciated!

If you look in the 'useful links' thread in this forum you will see ideas for a linguistics gap year! Hope that helps.

Maybe you could volunteer to help teach french at primary/secondary schools? Get a french penpal?

EDIT! I meant the UCAS forum has the useful links section! Sorry. To rectify my error here is the link: Potential Linguistic Ideas!

Were you ever put in isolation at school?
