How do I...

I'm in my last year of school and so at the moment is on Easter holiday, during which I've been to four 18 birthdays. At three of them there was a girl there who I know from my year in school, but who is part of a different friendship group and I've never really talked to before (our school is pretty big). Anyway at each party I talked to her for quite a while and she seemed really nice. She said she might come to the last 18th (last night) so I thought I'd see her there to ask her out, but it turned out she had to work. Basically does anyone have any suggestions on how to ask her out considering she lives about 20 minutes away and there is nothing now I will see her at. I have her phone number but would not really like to ask her out by a text message.

Give her a call! You've got nothing to lose, the worst that can happen is she says no. If she does you've only got to see her for a few weeks after Easter before study leave anyway :p:

you dont have to ask her out by text...you could arrange to meet up with her through texting, obviously, and do it in person.....? Good luck !

yeah give her a call (in my opinion that's so much nicer than a text) and ask if she fanices doind something sometime maybe in a group or whatever you fancy and take it from there

phone her, bit of small talk, then tell her you like her and blurt out ssomething like "hey Im goign to a party and wanna take you", easy, just you need to grow some balls. dont take that the wrong way, everyone does, and the sooner you do, the more fun you'll have!

call her and ask her if she wants to meet up for a drink or something. Then tell her you like her when you meet up! Good luck. X X X

i wouldn't ask her out straight away by text... just send her a friendly message and start a conversation!
