i jus had my eyes tested. if ur under 18 and in full time education then ur entitled to a free eye test and free lenses every 12 months. but i think u have to pay for the frames. i got mine tested friday and i have one eye short sighted and one eye long sighted lol xxx

As long as you don't look like a 45yr old woman I don't think you'll have any problems :wink:
There's such thing as a certificate?

Last year I needed to pick up a prescription and showed them my NUS Associate Card and that was it.

better safe than sorry. Im sure they would need some form of ID otherwise everyone will be claiming free eye checks because they are all students...

You give them your address, so they (ie the government, not the optician) can check whether you were telling the truth!

your entitled if in full time education, at specsavers it also gives you £30 i think off frames...or something like that.

yea, done the eyetest on tuesday, and got it today..hmm got long sighted haha..but im not really keen on wering glasses..i have use it before and its terrible...hahah
Contact lenses could be an option then? Daylies if you won't be wearing them much.
