Here goes... I'm Natalie, i'll be an English student. I'm 22 and like cats and coffee.

Hiya I'm Natalie, and I'll be studying English in September.
I'm 18, vegetarian, and I love dancing.
Sounds as though there'll be quite a few people at Sussex who i'll have stuff in common with!

I've tried to be veggie, but my downfall came in the shape of a meatball sub! Since i'm on a kosher diet now, I find eating veggie is a lot easier than trying to follow a load of rules. Just skip the meat altogether!
Wow, another Natalie on the English course. What are the odds? -

Hey..Im Dan, im 18 and from Bath!
Im almost certain im going to Sussex, although i leave everything to last min so I haven't applied yet!
I'm going to study Media Practise and Theory too, and i'm not a vegetarian..(sorry but i love my burgers too much
). I love my music (pretty much everything apart from the r+b n hip hop), film making, going to cinema, playing the drums (does anyone know if there are music rooms with a drum kit at sussex for drummers like moi to practise on!?!?!) and going to gigs... I've done a levels, but am currently in a 'gap year' working and fast tracking a further two a levels in english and psychology (stupid i know)... but i got an unconditional at Sussex!..(so no real need to pass the a levels im fast tracking!!)
I don't know what accomodation to choose!..i would really like an en-suite so lewes court p2 looks really attractive, but its price doesnt!..east slope looks cool because of the parties and because its the cheapest, but i suppose i just want a friendly place to live in which is comfortable!...*shrugs*..i don't know! - where is everyone else applying for accomodation!?.. it also seems like there are going to be alot of girls going to sussex and hardly any blokes!.. not that im complaining of course, but still it would be nice to know that some other blokes are going too!

Hey everyone
My name is Hannah, and hopefully(!) I will be joining Sussex Uni this September to do English! Unfortunately I am not vegetarian (sorry), but I love going to gigs, and I love music, into all indie stuff, rakes, arctic monkeys, kooks, strokes, kings of leon etc and also some older stuff like the pixies, blondie, the cure etc etc etc. Anyone else like similar museeek?
I'm thinking East Slope is the way to go, party central it seems, which is good goodI'm a big shimmying fan, so nights out dancing it up are gonna be required methinks. Southampton is my insurance choice, or will be, as I haven't accepted for definite yet, but woooop Sussex looks pretty damn funky.

Well from what I've heard, it sounds like it's not that likely that you'll get what you choose anyway! I figure it's all liveable, so it doesn't reeeeally matter. I've put Park Village as my first choice, even though some people say it's not good ... other people say they love it! And it's one of the cheaper ones
When I went to a Sussex Open Day, I saw inside East Slope and it looked rather grotty. But then what do you expect from student accommodation..
... so yeah, those are my thoughtsYou'll probably enjoy wherever you end up. (he says hopefully)

Nothing can be as bad as the accomodation at Brighton uni, yucky! Even the show flats looked horrible.
I used to like the strokes but find their new stuff is kind of a dirge. Hannah, you have great music taste. Kings of Leon AND blondie! Hope to see you in sep! -
