when i went to support them (since they are my local team) they were friendly to the point that they gave you a rough ride through the turnstiles but all in good fun - Me i am an Arsenal fan otherwise

In the olden days, the players from the Leeds football team actually lived in Leeds and worked during the week. So it's understandable that there would be some rivalry between fans as it actually represents their area.

Now, all of the football teams are full of foreign players and hardly any English players, yet people become so attached to their football team; when they're no different to an Arsenal/Chelsea etc. (every team is full of internationals and the only thing that really distinguishes them is the club's name) It makes no sense why people bother supporting a team now, does it?

Speak for yourself. Not all teams are.
Ok then, name a team in the premier league with no international players or less than 5 international players.
