I posted a thread on how to get a pet wasp about a month ago.

Anyways I had never tried the method for myself. Today however an wasp flew into my room, and before my cat could catch and eat it (which she does without getting stung!), I got a cup and as it crawled over my desk I trapped it. I then slid a piece of carboard under the cup so that I could carry it. I then put it in my fridge because my friends told me that this makes them go into a dormant like state. About an hour ago I went and lifted off the cup, and the wasp was really still. I then went and go a pice of string and whacked a bit of superglue on one and and carefully put this end on the wasps back whilst scared ****less it would wake up and attack me. I then placed the cup over it again and left it. A moment ago I returned and carefully took it out of the fridge and tied the other end of the string to a pole that is about twice as long as the piece of string. Anways at this point the wasp woke up and started to fly about, but now I have a pet wasp   !!!! Unfortunately I dont have a digital camera though so can put a picture up. But its so cool, wonder how long it will live for...

Hmmm in the summer I might make an army of them, 10 wasps attached to one pole :p:

Did you know there's no known antidote for wasp stings? And they can sting you more than once unlike a bee?

    Have fun with it :p:

That's a debate in itself. It seems to help people but it's not scientifically proven to be antidote..Strange stuff.
