The PSP has great games! Daxter, Syphon Filter, NBA Wipeout, Burnout, Socom, SSX, Smackdown GTA to name a few......

You cant get commentary on PES, seeing how crap it is on PS2, Im not bothered!

My PSP and I have a love-hate relationship. Some mornings I wake up and we fight, because i'm doing all the giving in this relationship and not recieiving anything in return. Some days I wake up and we love each other, and I realise it's sleek shape and cool features were why exactly I spent £180 on it in the first place.

Some days I don't wake up at all, I sleep right through - because with my PSP I can watch online porn all night from under the covers of my own bed. Now that's luxury.

To answer the actual question, yes I think there are some more actiony games, specifically GTA-esque games in the production line, although Wipeout pure, Everybody's Golf and GTA:LCS are still great titles in terms of replay value.

Splinter Cell Essentials is pretty good (and a nice distraction whilst waiting for Splinter Cell: Double Agent). Not to mention Metal Gear Ac!d 2 is coming out next month, as well as Me and My Katamari.

Is SC Essentials good then? I seem to remember the review not being too good on gamespot and apprently its quite dark all the time? Would you recommend getting it?

Silent Hill has been announced but I don't see how that could possibly retain the tension and horror of the original on a tiny screen (See Resident Evil on DS for proof)

It can be a bit dark, but only as much as you'd expect from something that involves sneaking around in the shadows. It's a bit short, and the controls take getting used to, but it's still fun. Probably about a 7.5/10. Not something worth rushing out to get a PSP just to play it, but certainly worth picking up if you're looking for an entertaining time killer.

Is that the "Silent Hill Experience" thing? From what I've seen, I don't think it's an actual Silent Hill game so much as it a "multimedia" tie-in to the series. Video clips, SH comics, music from the series, that kind of thing. I like the series, but this looks pretty much like a quick cash in to go with the release of the film.

Not unless that was announced a couple days ago, the game I'm referring to has only just been revealed

Ah wait, it may just be a (founded) rumour: http://www.gamespot.com/pages/news/s...ic_id=24521488

Before it came out, I thought Splinter Cell looked really impressive, but then I havent read any really good reviews. I'll be buying Syphon Filter instead.

But the online seems good, so I think I'll still buy it. The next games I buy for PSP are: Syphon Filter, Daxter & Outrun.

There's quite a lot of games coming out on PSP that I'm attracted to. At this rate, I'll probably be getting myself a PSP later this year.

I've been playing Godfather on PS2, and its quite good. But you need both joysticks to do most of the stuff, and I dont think it will translate well to the PSP, but you never know.

Im gonna be adding Football Manager to the list of games Im gonna get. So thats 4 games in the 1-2 months hopefully.

It will be releasing for PSP but it might not be as good. Although the PS2 version is not the best of gangster games. Heard of the game Mafia? GET IT, get it SPECIFICALLY for PC 'cos other formats aren't worth the enjoyment you get from the PC version, there are SEVERAL things cut out from the PC version such as the music while your drivin and the many missions changed. I played it on PS2 as well but wasn't entirely impressed as I was when I played it on PC.

It's THE best gangster game EVER. IGN gave it 9.2. They should have made Mafia into Godfather. I can't believe they haven't released Mafia 2, the same way I can't believe they still haven't released Max Payne 2, the same way I can't believe they haven't released PS3...

Anyone else played Mafia ON PC? The ending, I think, was superb. It was like something created from the gangster's bible.

Does anyone know if they're developing Mafia 2?

Lol! That's exactly my situation. I bought NFS:MW from game but after a week of playing I got a refund. Now I only have GTA. Used to have Wipeout pure and ridge racer.

lol! I used to have ridge racer too but i sold that on and my bro has Wipeout - good game but i havent really played it that much.

I dont really think i like racing games anymore, i seem to buy them, play them for a week or two and then sell them again.

The cops in most wanted got on my nerves, they always went for you what ever position you were in. Also, you had to keep upgrading your cars all the time and then they became too hard to control but if you didnt upgrade you had no change of winning

I liked NFS but the cops were VERY annoying. The only good thing about them was that they don't chase you if your not first in the race. If they did then it'd v annoying. They seem to be the fastest cars in the game too. They don't even have nos.
