I'd advise you to start booking pretty early depending on when your prom is, because I'd imagine these places would get booked up pretty quickly around May/June time.

Maybe look in the Yellow Pages, the phonebook, or your local paper under the Services section. I'm sure they will have some tux services and they're more likely to be in your area.

    Good luck!

Havn't got any suggestions for places, as I've only had to do it once, and went to a local shop, which is what I'll be doing again for my prom this year. But you have to go in and get measured up, then book a time for you to go back some time later and try on the thousands of individual pieces in your size to make sure they all fit, and choose which one you like best, etc, then you go back the a few days before the prom or whatever it is and pick up. You probably already knew all that, but I thought it might help you with the time, etc.

You could try Greenwoods if there's a shop near you. That's where my brother is hiring his from.

The cheapest thing to do is to get a vintage tuxedo from Oxfam or an equivalent charity store. When I worked for Oxfam I picked up my YSL Rive Gauche tux that is certainly a better made suit than anything you could buy for less than about £500.
