that's how.

why on earth don't you want to eat meat? lean meats are quite possibly the best food you can eat whilst trying to lose fat.

you need some nutritents in your diet...protein...etc...please eat meat...just to put my mind at ease!

Cut out highly processed foods, so have a chicken breast (contains hardly any fat) instead of a burger.

The diet your on, is unsustainable (and not nutritious...you need protein, so eat pulses, nuts etc) if you don't want to do it...ie your meat cravings!

thats because the diet is stupid you gain weight after you do diets like these because your body turns from the no food zone to loooaaads of food zone go and grab something and just eat sensible it might take a longer time but it the weight might last off longer as well:smile:

its terrible that diet. you arent getting much protein. at least eat leans like fish/egg/chicken and poultry.

all meat is ok in moderation, and grilled not fried

Have you looked into anything like the GI diet (i just call it a different way of eating!). basically its a balanced diet, but you choose food that will take longer to digest so you feel fuller for longer, e.g. wholemeal foods. Its a really good way to eat.

thanks at the moment my body seems to be going on a detox im defecating three times a day instead of my usual once a day (which is highly unpleasant) and my urine smells quite strong. Im also hungry most of the time,
i always grill my food even the burgers and in a george forman. I just dont trust the crap thats in meat you buy in meals and stuff so maybe il pick up stuff and cook it when i get home

I went vegie one day two years ago - was so easy for me. But i only used to eat chicken and steak.....Have you tried quorn pieces? look and taste..to me.. like chicken and they're low in fat. The lamb n mint burgerslook and taste too real for my liking but might be good for you? Are you exercising too? Because you aren't eating much might be wiser to eat more substantially and do more work outs which is healthier. good luck!!

I'm 5ft 10 too and tend to constantly follow the Weight Watchers way of eating. I never went to the meetings, just picked up the basics of it off my mum who went for a while a few years ago.

It lets you eat a bit of everything as long as you stay within your points limit for the day. Instead of just restricting yourself to salad (and missing out on vital parts of your diet!!) you can eat everything. You just learn to control how much of what you should be eating.

Your diet doesn't sound particularly healthy, it sounds like you're lacking nutrients.

Being a vegan, I found it really easy to give up meat. It actually makes me feel really sick when I look at it. Anyhows, as someone has mentioned, Quorn pieces are low in fat. As is tofu. Many vegetarian faux-meats are lower in fat than 'normal' meat.

Do the Atkin's diet.

Lean chicken is very filling and low calories for the amount it fills you. Plenty of protein as well, obviously.

You can always try quorn if you're craving red meat..obviously it doesn't taste exactly like the real thing but it's not that different.
