Hello! I've just discovered this site and it seems jolly useful! Just wondering if anyone out there is currently studying or going to study Drama and Theatre Studies at rhul. I can't decide between Exeter and rhul and need some advice!

    Hey there
Applied to drama and got a conditional offer of BBB so awaiting A Levels
Can't really talk about my experience seen as I'm not even there yet but what I can say is the campus is beautiful and the course content seems great as well. I didn't even apply to Exeter because I thought it seemed too theoretical but that was my opinion.
Have you visited either campus yet?

    Thanks for the advice!
I have visited both exeter and rhul and they both seem lovely - which is the problem as i just can't decide. Will probs end up flipping a coin or something  Although Founders is so cool that it may be the deciding factor!

Im also thinking about going 2 RH for drama. I was attracted by the campus and course because i hate devised work and at Rh its not compulsery. The campus was gorge, but i was worried it might be a bit isoloated, and i've heard that the nightlife is crap.

Yeah nightlife does sound a bit quiet in the town but I'm sure there are a few SU run bars and clubs. Besides, I'm not really much of a city-boy myself...
I have a cousin at Exeter and he said the nightlife is crap there as well so either way your gonna end up with quiet nightlife...

As a country lass quite nightlife doesn't sound too bad, but with London on your doorstep I'm sure there's always chance to escape to somewhere a bit more alive and happening Rhul looks good if you want to build your own degree and specialise - there's loads of course options. Will probs make it my firm altho slightly worried about it not being acedemic enough - not alot of theory.
