flip really sorry to hear that about the divorce, really hope you're ok about it all as hard as it must be
no you aren't a wimp at all, it's natural to be upset, would be strange if you werent. I hope you're ok aswell I hate when my parents argue, for a period a while back it used to be awful.. it usually passes though .. try and stay optimistic xx

Jesus christ, you showed an emotion...that doesn't make you a sissy or wimp, for goodness sake, in any case, real men have emotions and accept their insecurities, rather than creating a foolish macho bravado on the exterior. "Obviously you didn't show it"?, there is no reason for you to feel that showing sadness makes you less of a man, if it's not within your nature to show a lot of emotion, fair enough, but it seems you are repressing it to perpetuate the stereotypical male image. Sorry to sound harsh but...to me the answer to your question is obvious, and I'm sorry to hear about your parents - coming from a divorced family I know that tensions, especially in the family, can be difficult times.

My parents haven't spoken in years so I don't have to deal with the arguring crap.

my parents went through a lot of crap... i'm 19 now, but even thinking about it now upsets me, so no it's completley normal to feel that way.
