    you should save all spreadsheets as generic, if it is saved as an excel document it definitely wont work.

    as in can u do vba coding for macros etc, data transfer to access...

    im not a Lotus user, so this is speculation, but i think there is a way to code for macros. If there is, it wont be VBA because that's specific to microsoft. I think.
