Purple is a very sexy colour - the purple that the latest Fiesta comes in is nice (Amethyst), and I also love Volvo Blackcurrent Pearl.

I want a yellow car, so that when I'm at junctions etc I can watch people hitting each other.

It would only be cool with the right car though. A bright yellow Mondeo, for instance, wouldnt work. So for "sensible" cars, I'd have something nice and understated.

It all depends on the car IMHO, but black's nice on most cars.

With other colours it depends on the shade of colour and the car (as suggested above). Always fancied a metallic purple scoob tho...

It depends on the car but almost always black or silver. Silver looks really good on Lexus cars and Audi TT's, yet they look crap in black.

Whereas the generic E-Class Mercedes should always be in silver.

I like red on some sports cars too, but not often.

there is only room for 16 colours - so i used one of the slots for "other" to compensate. I had it on my original list but couldn't fit them all on - thats why i said to specify if you want metallic or not too.

Black is not boring - Its quite a non descript colour/shade but thats why it appeals to so many people. Almost anything goes with black.
