You joker....Jack Johnson?

If that's "taste in music" (thrown in with some randomly selected classical to make yourself look more learned) then God help us...
I didn't know wheither to believe them, after reading what they had on their most played list..

He's not the most exciting man in the world but his music sounds good on the beach.

Classical music isn't even that pretentious....she should have gone for like obscure Japanese post-rock bands or something.

Yeah, everyone listens to classical music once in a while. You're even taught about it in primary school, yo. I don't remember being taught about obscure Japanese post-rock bands at any point.

Ooh, we could help this girl out... suggest that she only listens to music with meaningful lyrics. That's pretty pretentious.

1. Luke Haines
Number one by a country mile.
2. Scott Walker
His new album comes out in a little over three weeks. I am excited and preparing.
3. Morrissey
His new album just arrived. Have also been applying the ear to some of the older ones.
4. Skip James
My favourite bluesman. His 1930's stuff is on regular repeat.
5. Fiona Apple
Sneaking on thanks to various renditions of Extraordinary Machine and a longstanding addiction to A Mistake.

Actually it was the other way around - I more threw in the popular stuff that I sometimes listen to. At the moment I'm listening to Gorecki 'Totus Totus' from Sacred Arias. Why don't more people our age like classical? It's very sad.

What - because I listen to mostly classical music!? My God. You know it's not just something people use to make themselves look intelligent - it is actually worth listening to!

Plenty of people do, but when they see that others don't have it in their top artists list they don't feel the need to tell everyone that they have bad taste. That's just stupid.
