just installed it, the text is a little big, but it's useable.

should be good for pub quizzes,

what I find amazing is that the whole of wikipedia, (minus images) is only 700mb.

I guess you have to re download it, the only annoying thing is I wish you could hyperlink between articles, but it is cool, and great for just reading it for hours when your bored

to get to it you reset your ipod and hold down rewind as it loads, so you don't even know it's there untill you need it.

yup running it now, it's a bit crappy for long articles, but it's real alright.

    wow,

It's a cool idea but I can't see it really taking off when 3g becomes commonplace and everyone will be browsing the net at broadband speed on their mobile phones.

Problem with live downloading OTA via 3G/GPRS is that you're paying per megabyte for download. The end may be in sight with the T-Mobile Web&Walk add-on which provides 'unlimited' download for a set monthly fee, but it will be quite a while (IMO) before this becomes commonplace.

The advantage of sync-at-home like the above is that you can grab the data whilst on a flat-rate connection, pop it on your mobile device and then no need to worry about it.
