Germany sends its condolences to the families of the deceased. Germany is also concerned about the unrest that this could cause in the country, (already there have been many arsons). It suggests that the UN send some of its peacekeeping force in the near future.

India is shocked that Spain says 'it condones' terrorism. The sentence does not make sense.

Spain accepts that "condone" may have been too strong a word to use in danger of confusing other nations, but is India suggesting that Spain accepts and supports terrorism?

Germany does not want Spain to support terrorism, but it also does not want Spain to overlook, forgive, or disregard it without protest or censure (condone) terrorism.

Spain condones and stands firmly against all acts of terror, and sends its symphathies to all who have been affected in the Sri Lankan bomb attack.
Surely the Spanish Representative must realise that her statement is paradoxical.

Spain understands what India and Germany are saying, but hopes that they will overlook this misunderstanding. Spain also hopes all nations will forgive Spain for not using a dictionary to find out what condone means.

For the record: Spain does not agree with acts of terrorism

India is not suggesting that Spain condones terrorism, Spain itself is suggesting that by using the word 'condone'.

However, India forgives Spain, and suggests that they check with this website before posting any vocabulary they do not understand :p:

Spain warmly thanks India and Germany for their thoughtful dictionary suggestions, where the word thoughtful refers to something which is having or showing heed for the well-being or happiness of others and a propensity for anticipating their needs or wishes.:proud:

Mooooooooving on...

Again, our condolences are sent out to all those affected in the Sri Lankan situation.
