I know it's a bit too late to look for summer placements now for Biochem/Genetics/Biomed undergraduates, but something kinda happened (see below) and I'm looking for one now. Any suggestions on where I should look for one and for which company still has vacancy? I guess it doesn't matter which area since I can't be picky now... as long as they're paid (or at least cover accommodation fees)
Any help is much appreciated....
p/s: Actually I can work in university lab but I didn't manage to get any funding, so I would have to work for free...hence I'm looking for other sort of internships now...

Yeah, you're right, it is a bit late to be looking for Summer Internships.
Places to try though:
AstraZeneca (defiantley still doing summer placements, I think)
National Institute for Medical Research
And plenty more I can't think of
However, a lot of those places will require some form of undergraduate experience, usually 2 years, so look out.
You can also try speculative enquiries to other companies that may perhaps be more local to you.Last edited by Tom H; 13-04-2006 at 11:20.
