I think House is the best thing about five, he is too cool for school. Which is why he is a doctor.
I think now five is investing in a lot more american dramas it makes it a must see channel in my opinion. It has dramas, documentarys, to be honest i dont know how many of you watched family affairs but now thats gone I think it'll help. The only thing that makes it seem a bit cheap and it really is a daft point but that five logo they have, it just seems so, fiveish lol. That big five. I think it should be a snazzy number 5 or something. But id rather lose say, bbc2, then I would five, because you have eastenders on bbc1, the bill on itv, lost and big brother and friends and loads of others on channel 4, and what i said before on 5. Also I think the fact that you cant even get channel 5 in remote parts of the country doesnt help.

Ever since Five managed the rather big coup of being the terrestrial channel to get rights for the Matrix, it has just been getting better in my opinon. I'd place it against ITV atm, because it has been a very long while since i found anything remotely interesting on ITV.

House is ok, but not produced by five, in fact does channel five still make any of its own programes??

I really need to start watching House and Prison Break. But yeah. they have good films on every now and again, the whole CSI franchise and i quite like there sports coverage such as john barnes football night lol and nascar and that. I don't some of there documentaries like "the boy with a tumour for a face", i mean i know its one of these shock programmes but its rely quite interesting. so no channel 5 isn't a waste of space imo.

like has already been mentioned above, CSI, House, Grey's Anatomy, Law & Order, and the odd Bolton Wanderers game until they got knocked out of Europe, repeats of The Clangers, Trisha Goddard, and Brainteaser - possibly the most ridiculous show on TV, but it's compulsive viewing, i always find it hard to turn off.
