What are people's experiences and thoughts about pro plus?

It didn't work at all for me. Then again, I take in so much caffeine that maybe it takes a lot more than that to have any effect.

Its just caffine in tablet form. Don't get attached to it

you can build up resistance. Like, if you didn't have any caffine for a week or two, and then downed three espresso's your head would feel rather fluffy. At least mine does sometimes lol

It's okay to take in "emergencies" - e.g. when you've got coursework to be in the next day and you need to focus, you're going to work and haven't slept all night, etc... I don't think the odd few are unhealthy but you can get in the habit of taking it all the time which I'm pretty sure is bad for you (it's concentrated caffiene after all).

That was my point. Three espressos is nothing.

I didn't find pro-plus to be that good when i had it, i just swear by coffee

I used them once for a week (well 8 in 2 days then 2 in the morning of the remaining days to wake up) but noticed myself feeling dependant on them and them so I stopped, while I was making an effort to stop my housemates noticed how irritable and shakey I was. so yes they worked for me when doin overnight work but they do have adverse effects

Stick to coffee, more socially acceptable

Why are you anon? Its not like were discussing heroin, they're just caffine pills. Unless...Your hooked?

You'd be better off just getting a proper nights sleep.

Well, that isn't always viable.

I suffer bad insomnia, and I find that during the day, it keeps me alive. I would've liked to sleep. But some things just don't work.

nvm. pointlessly anonymous topic starter..

I find proplus and energy drinks to be far more effective than lots of coffee. If I try to drink lots of coffee I just find myself getting rather acquainted with the bog

Reply 13

Dont recommend it for studying - because you wont feel the energy boost and it just means you cant go to sleep. Also too much can mess u up so badly-sleeping patterns etc

Stick to energy drinks purdeys/redbull etc when studying.

Pro Plus is amazing. Too much will **** you over though.

Reply 15

It totally ****s you over if you have too much.

We had like 14 each at once and ended up wiht everyone thinking we were on drugs. Then you get the worlds horriblist downer. Worse than from anything else Ive experienced..

Took it for 4 days on the trot along with quite a bit of ibuprofen. Was fine at the time but a few days afterwards were a bit of a blur.
