I just realised, if you're 17 and starting uni, you'd get to go clubbing at LSE, UCL, Imperial and Kings nights and legally you shouldn't be allowed to. Nice loophole in the system there. Most nightclubs accept it as well, so it's pretty damn useful in exploiting the loophole...

Nope, If the bouncers are actually checking they do not have to let you in at all....Don't assume that because you are a student they have to let you in, I'm afraid national Law still maintains precedent.

hmmm about the showers..in the prospectus they say bathrroom shared by six to eight students...does that mena there is one shower for those students? this means that you have to wait sometimes for the rest?

about not flushing the toilets etc.. I am thinking about choosing en-suite rooms!
The prospectus isn't that accurate. Apparently kitchens are supposed to be shared between something like 10 people. There are about 25 in mine.

Hmm, that is probably true but don't quote me on it. Although the halls you end up in could be limited as I believe the Wardens actually have the right to refuse to accept under 18s into their particular halls as someone has to accept Loco Parentis...

Of course I might be totally wrong...

At Kings I've never had to show my passport/drivers lisense though - just prove im a student. And IC for instance NEVER ID people!!

concerning this under-18 thing what I know is that if you get triple/double room you will share it with someone under-18 as well!
but still we will become 18 somewhere during the course (i will in march:eek:)
so the 'restrictions' wont be during the whole 1st year!
