What do you need to happen?

I've made one that opens up ipconfig in the system32 dir, I need to copy the ip from the command window into maybe a *.txt file or an IM client window. Can a batch file do somthing like that, or do I need to write a macro?

Create a new batch file, with the following lines:

    Ipconfig /Batch [file name]

so if I wanted a new file I would type:

    Ipconfig /Batch C:\IPCONFIG.TXT

This will copy all the IPCONFIG info to a file on the 'C' drive called IPCONFIG.TXT which can be opened with notepad.
