Programming Paradigms CPT4
I dont quite understand what this term means, what are programming paradigms?

Programming paradigms can be thought of as what a programming language allows you to do. For example, a language may support object orientated programming or functional programming (i.e. the programming language supports these paradigms of programming).
They basically set out what a programming language will and will not support.

hmmm.. ok... its annoying how its on the syllabus but its not even mentioned the text book.

Don't let the name put you off, just think of it as something which sets out what a programming language does and does not support.
The chances of them asking something that direct are pretty low though. They will most likely ask a question to see that you understand that certain programming languages can and cannot do certain things.
