Hello. Is there anyone doing American Studies already? I'm getting far too confused in chosing between Nottingham and Lancaster. The 3 year thing worries me and are there enough lecturers? Please get back to me if you have any info on course at all! Thanks.

I had an offer from Nottingham as well....but I turned it down....nottingham has a bit of a crime problem at the minute i understand. don't know anything about american studies though. Does anyone know if you can take it as your third subject in year one with history and politics. If so I would be interested in anyones answer.

Yep, i know someone who has taken american studies as their third subject alongside history and politics.

I don't really know that much about the course or the number of lecturers but i know that my friend is really enjoying it and is really looking forward to going to florida university in his second year.
