Ah thanks, nothing to do with my heart or clogged arteries then =D

I got that, or something like it and the doctor said it was muscle spasms in the chest brought on by stress, it wasn't my heart - just very near it.

There's nothing you can do about it but stop stressing and breathe very shallowly when you get the pains - if you've got the same thing I have.

Other than that I can't help - I'm not a medical person I'm afraid.

A lot of people in my family have that...nothing dangerous apparantly, just muscle spasms.

Happens due to stress, so try and relax!

i have that aswell dude, when i was small too

i think you should go to a doctor. theres no harm in it, and if its "just" muscle spasms then its ok. i suppose its better to be safe than sorry, so id go check it out just in case.. x

Sometimes, randomly, I get shooting pains in the front of my chest. I have to sit really still, if I move, the pain shoots again. I have to breathe quite slowly for it to go away sometimes. Anyone know what this might be? Clogged arteries maybe? I'm only 19, but I eat a lot of ****.

Also, sometimes when I yawn, my right shoulder really, really hurts. I find this quite odd.

Medical boffs help!

lol :tsr2:

bah. not even going to read what anyone else has said. fact is i can tell you 100% that at your age the most likely cause by FAR is 'growing pains - pain from the bone, joint or muslce of your ribs'.
although shooting pains are genreally nerve derived, its basically from the same place.
inevitably benign, don't stress.
if you are worried or it persists then see your GP.

Sometimes that happens to me, I have to breathe really slowly until it goes away. When I drink water, I feel better.
