try either of these, they're free: http://www.nokiafx.net/unlock.htm or http://www.officialringtonechart.com/unlocking/

if not, try these which charge: www.mobilefun.co.uk or http://www.unlock123.com

The n70 can only be unlocked by the supplying network at the moment - there is no solution for third parties to either directly unlock the phones or generate unlocking codes for them.

Agreed. Only the network your on can do it for a fee of £15.

For Three(3) you have to pay £200 until your contract ends, then its £15..

Well it depends on the network - Orange charge £20, but yes it's usually between £15 and £30.

Orange shops don't unlock phones. If you bought your phone on Orange contract or Pay As You Go, then ring Orange customer services and they will arrange for the unlock code to be sent to you for the £20 payment.

    Hi,

Just came across this thread through google, I would really not recommend anyone using my Nokia code calculator for the Nokia N70, the N70 series is a BB5 handset, bb5 phones can not currently be unlocked by anyone except the networks themselves even then a lot of them usually get the codes directly from Nokia... Please do not trust anyone with your phone trying to unlock these phones, do not trust people on ebay saying they can unlock the phone for you neither because it just isnt possible at the moment... for further information you may want to see my new site www.mobilephonefx.com we have an improved Free Nokia unlocker there better than my old one at nokiafx

Anyway hope this helps someone, just dont want people using up their available code attempts trying to enter codes that just wont work

The only way to unlock BB5 in the UK is through the network themselves...
They usually do this for between £15-20, Three UK may be a little extreme with this and might charge upto £200, lol

    BB5 Phones:-
    3250, 6131, 6133, 6125, 6126, 6270, 6280, 6282, 6630, 6680, 6681, 6682, 7370, E60, E61, N70, N70, N72, N80, N90, N91, N92
    I might have forgot some...

Ive had the N70 and I loved it, I got rid of it because I swapped it with someone who had a brand new N80 and he couldnt get TomTom for it at the time... I wouldnt pay too much attention to most review sites out their they are usually biased and compare phones like these to standard phones like the K750 when they are not the same thing at all, compare like for like

You wont be able to unlock it though so look for a sim free one or look for one that is on the network you want to use...

If you get one I will show you how to update the software on it if you want to, just in case you get one with an old software version and it has some software bugs
