I've just done an OCR B "Physics in Action" Paper, and I found the timing to be really hard... Has anyone had similar experience of these papers? Or is it just me being slightly slow??

It could also be that I'm sitting in a heated room doing Physics at half-twelve... :p:

I had that problem last year in physics aswell. I think the OCR B exams are very time pressured, i used to spend aaages on the section C. However now at A2 there is no section C!!!!

But dont worry about it, most people find it difficult to finish in the time limit, however just keep doing past papers and it will get easier

My other qualm is with the course! It's soo boring! It doesn't concentrate on REAL PHYSICS! It concentrates on the applications of physics, and it's modern glossy image which makes it "attractive to students", with that stupid CD ROM with loads of mistakes on it!! Urgh!! Does the A2 get much better??

I would love to say yes it does get better, but not really. There's a bit more maths in it and you do do some more interesting stuff such as particle physics, but its still pretty dull. The CD at A2 is also jam packed with mistakes and also pretty useless unless you need a new frisbee.
