    Hi, how long does it take to walk from Piccadilly station to Sackville Street (Optometry and NeuroScience buidling)? Thanks

    It is right next to it so it is about 5 minutes walk. That is the old UMIST campus rather than the Oxford Road one so it is very close to the station.

    cheers, thats good news - I leave early from home with train, around 7:30, will certainly help that building is near station!!

    Well I've managed to get from Picadilly to Harrys bar in no time on many occasions
    So long as you know where you're going, it's just a couple of minutes max.

    Yeah, you can either just go straight down Whitworth Street and it's on your left, or try and navigate through from the back of the UMIST buildings. Not a great distance at all.

    You can walk from fallowfield to the station, so I don't know why people keep asking about distances.
