I am doing a lot of reserch on this subject at the moment and find it fascinating but there is very little evidence of wether it works or not and in what cases has it worked best.
Dose anyone have any ideas where i can get some info or can anyone tell me if they know first-hand how well it works please

When I worked in a psychiatric hospital it was found that it worked with a range of problems: phobias and depression especially. At worst it doesn't have the side-effects of medications. Try using google to look for surveys and results.
