hey. i have naturally straight hair - and a lot of it! its rather thick and about shoulder length. i've always wondered how to curl it evenly and without it looking all crazy in weird directions. when i try to do a few bits with a curling tong, because its thick, it goes seriously curly at the bottom and nothing at the top. any help? what other methods could i use? how do i section the peices off properly? :p:

rags in wet hair overnight is a really effective way of getting thick hair to go into ringlets. I've no idea how it's done - google it? - because I've only ever had it done for me. Be warned that it springs up A LOT and ends up quite a bit shorter

You could plait wet hair, and leave it overnight.

I've found that this stuff is amazing for holding your curls on a night out.

use Babyliss curlers - simply the best! Lasted two days! After you've curled your hair, spritz some hair spray to keep it intact

the problem with this is if you dont plait all the way to the bottom of your hair the bottom ends up straight.

plus i've always found, that this makes hair 'frizzy' as opposed to curly
