Yes they do, for anything more than a tripley AFAIK.

lol, didnt realise its all pharmacy students around. Hm...yea probably, but spectroscopy unit is really a pain and boring

isn't it "couple" not "doublet"? I may be wrong depending on the context
I do chem and on the exam papers generally says multiplet for more than 4, they usually write 'q' for quartet, but don't go up much further. And they print the stupid spectra so damn small you can't figure out the no. of peaks anyway, grr...:rolleyes:
