It might work, how much are you planning on taking per day?
Primal defense tablets cure my brothers horrific acne. It's all bacterial to fight yeast infections etc. that live in the digestive system etc. which is often the cause of acne. Start taking 1 a day then gradually move up. He was taking six after a while per day (2x 3x daily) which got rid of it after a month or so. He is now back down on less per day to maintain. Will also generally help with immune system etc.

He had also been on antibiotics for about 5 years.
Glow
I just ordered some. Has anyone tried it? Does it really work as good as everybody says? Any side-effects?

I heard good and bad stories about it, unfortunately mine was a bad story. I was on it for a little less than two months, it just made my acne worse, it didn't get better. I think it's common for your acne to initially get worse on B5, so brace your self.

Have you visited the GP? The GP will usually give you antibiotics and tropical applicants (which all didn't work for me), as a last resort (or if your acne is scarring) they'll put you on roaccutane. I'm currently on roaccutane and so far my sebum production has stopped. If you're considering it in the future, you might want to look a my log (or look in the 'best threads ever' sticky if you forget this link).

take care.
I work in a health food store, and sorry to say it but it doesn't work. It may be worth giving it a go but don't believe what you read on the internet about taking massive doses as it can cause hair loss amongst other problems. If your acne doesn't respond to shop bought meds then it may be worth seeing your doctor and trying antibiotics.
try primal defense. no joke it works - i have witnessed!

Hairloss? Really? Well, I wouldn't want that to happen. My acne is not very bad. Until less than a year ago I had almost no spots at all, but I'm sick of waiting until it passes.
If its not bad then ask your doctor for either oral antibiotics or what is the ONLY thing that made a slight difference to me zineryt, which is an antibiotic you put directly onto the skin- its very drying but I think its worth asking your doctor for. I tried everything and now on dianette with zineryt. good luck

B5 is *******s to be honest. I took those super doses 4 years ago and noticed nothing at all except a lighter bank balance. Go here, acne.org
