I am of the male variety (sex-wise), yet I do not watch pornographic tripe.
Only quality content, eh? My philosophy too.

I think any girl that believes their boyfriend doesn't masturbate/watch porn is naive.
To be honest, i don't think it's fair to think that all guys in a relationship do watch porn- partly why I asked the question. I do believe that men in relationships are satisfied enough with the real thing to not feel the need to watch porn or masturbate. Now, if he gets a little excited and i'm not in the mood...fair play.

My boyfriend may very well watch porn or masturbate, i'm not so naive that i don't think it's a possibility, in fact it's very possible. However, how he finds the time to is beyond me.

Well personally it goes in waves, I might watch a lot of it one week and then the next week I might not masturbate at all, or I might use my imagination, or I might be seeing my girlfriend a lot. Mood changes according to circumstances and what I'm currently bored with.

I've gone for 50 days without watching porn, masturbating or orgasming.
I'm male btw and i'm doing it to try and ease all the social and emotional problems that i have and i've gotta say that it helps.

Well I don't...I have done before out of pure curiosity (as I think most have) but I just don't find it 'right'. Call me gay / weird whatever but each to their own - if I wanted it that bad then I'd rather get off the internet and actually make an effort. Sexual pleasure through a computer screen just doesn't cut it for me...and would make me feel a little desperate.

I believe you have misconstrued my comment. I merely meant that I reject pornographic material in its entirety. There is no existent, nor will there ever be, 'quality' pornographic content.

I used to live with my ex but separate rooms (uni house) and I would always leave him a little bit of time in the morning so he had the option of watching porn uninterrupted. I don't understand why there are some girls who wouldn't accept their boyfriend watching porn- it's the 21st century. It happens.

I've never really understand some peoples' obsession with other peoples' private business.

Let me give it a shot...

How is your sex life OP?When you're not getting laid/ going through a dry spell, how often do you fantasise about getting some action? Do you watch porn?

I'm really getting into this.

My ex-bf was a porn addict and he wasn't able to have sex because he could only be turned on by porn. It's best in moderation I think.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of porn users just don't realise they're impotent cos they're not getting laid...

He never owned up about it to me. I kept practically jumping on him but he said he was too busy to have sex with me, although he watched porn. Then he said it's 'cause I wasn't enough to turn him on. Obviously can't compete with porn. So I think if you watch it too much you can lose the ability to get turned in other ways - I don't know...just speculating.

That is the general consensus, and it's backed up with solid qualitative science. No-one's done trials on this sort of thing though.

I genuinely was just out of curiousity. If you don't want to talk about your private life, you don't. I'm not forcng you. I have no problem talking about my private life, so if you want to know about my sex life here you are: my sex life is very good. Pretty much every day sometimes more than once. Personally, porn doesn't do it for me. I've watched and tried to masturbate to porn before but i always get distracted! Plus, i get enough of the real thing so I don't really feel the urge to masturbate if i'm honest

That's very good of you! haha. To be honest, if my boyfriend watched porn
that's okay, i wouldn't make it a problem as long as it wasn't affecting our own sex life. Although I guess at first i'd feel a little unattractive, that's just me though i've always had self-esteem issues (ugh!), i'd accept it eventually. I definitely don't think it calls for a break up, my friend insists if she found out her boyfriend watched it she'd break up with him!

Rubbing one out without porn is harder than climbing mount Everest.
Your imagination sucks then. The brain is the biggest sexual organ.

By watching I would mean everyday/every second day. Say about 4+ times a week?

nah..usually not..but really depends on the mood and how many action you are getting...for example maybe for a week u can get too "excited" and then not even once a month..for example the last time i had sex was two weeks ago and since then i watched porn one time only.{ but these two weeks were extremely busy so i wasnt really concentrated in this "area" } it all depends..if you think about it also in some ways it is natural to masturbate{not every day of course } because then ,if you dont get really any action, u would have concentration problems...i really think though its not logic why sex considered such "serious" thing...normally it should be more relaxed...{mostly from girls prospective} in a logic world..if you went to a girl {which is physically attractive for you} and tell her would u like to have sex? her answers ,normally, should be based on the same "grounds" ..now if you do anything like that the most common is to think you are a perv...

Well ask him what he masturbates over, if he says he doesn't masturbate then you know he is lying.
I have never maturbated and I aint lying trust me. Any man that can be stimulated by his own hand has deep problems.

Stemming from another post made on here today.

In the particular post the OP said her boyfriend told her he doesn't watch porn. Many people said he was lying and does. Obviously we all know that's a possiblilty and a very likely one at that but isn't there a some guys who don't watch it?

Even if he used to watch but doesn't now because he doesn't feel the need to with him being in a relatonship? Or maybe it just doesn't appeal to him? Not directing this at the poster of the other threads' boyfriend but some boyfriends in general.

I do think it's naive to think that all guys in a relationship don't watch it, but there must be some out there! So guys do you/did you used to but don't now? Know any guys who don't/don't anymore?

Basically what i'm asking is, are there any guys out there who don't watch porn regularly or even used to but don't realy anymore?
Me. I don't watch porn.
