which uni? soas, kings college, nottingham or strathclyde?

i am planning to apply for a master course. which university do you reckon i should go? below is the university name and name of courses which i am going to apply.

soas - international management for china or international management for japan
Do you think this course is good enough? currently, i dont have any plan to go to China to work. I just think it would be a good idea to improve my chinese, since i am not going to have time and money to spend a month or a year in china to brush up my language skills. And also, do you think this course is going to give me a good job prospects? i mean, does it mean i could only work for companies that deal with chinese market?

kings college - international management
nottingham - international management
strathclyde - international business

thanks guys.

Either Nottingham or Kings. I'd say Nottingham as I personal preference but if you want to go into management I's say going to a London Uni would help

do you mean kings has the highest employment rates compared to soas, nott and strathclydes?

i think i will definitely apply for kings college and nott. i might apply soas too since i really love the idea of learning new language. But again, i am not too sure about the job prospects. correct me if i am wrong, i always think nott has a higher ranking than kings (as well as soas and strathclydes) in term of business/management course.

can u not do management with chinese studies at nottingham? think they have links with the far east so you may get to learn a new language because they have a few joint chinese degrees in their undergraduate prospectus

i think nottingham has a better reputation than king's though but personally i would choose king's because it's a good university as well as being located in London.

i'm hoping to go to soas because im interested in asia and its culture. as well as it being a great uni.

*boo* like you, i am interested in asia and am hoping to go to soas. but, most of my friends think it's quite weird or shall i say, stupid, to learn something about china at british university instead of chinese university. they also told me kcl and nott have a better reputation than soas. is that true?

As for nott, i know it's a great university. But i hate the idea of moving all my stuff all the way from south. mind you, i have lotsa, and i mean Lots of stuff.

can anyone tell me where is kcl located? is it near to soas or ucl. i know soas and ucl are located in central london.

Strathclyde is nowhere near as good as the other unis you have mentioned I would say. It's really not even among the best in Scotland. I know someone who wants to go to Strathclye for some kind of business/management degree, she failed most of her exams and is mainly interested in partying. Well if that's your kinda thing maybe you'd like it.....And if you don't want to move all the way to Nottingham, getting your stuff to Glasgow would be much worse

yeah my friend was also saying i should study in china if i want to learn more about the culture, language etc but it's not that easy to study abroad.
soas is the only good british university that offers courses specialising in asia so that's why i've made up my mind to go there. it's quite higly rated in league tables too(4th in the guardian, 22nd in the times so it proves it's not a bad university).

i would say nottingham has a better reputation than soas. i would think kcl and soas would be rated quite similarly but since soas is a specialist school it's hard to compare a multi-faculty uni with a specialist one.

soas and ucl are quite close together but think kcl is a bit further out. it's still in central london though.
