I used to play the piano and I haven't played it for a while. I haven't really found any songs that i'd like to learn. The last song I learnt was requiem for a dream (something like that) and that was a few years ago.

Does anyone have any good dramatic songs like requiem for a dream to learn on piano?

I like the dramatic songs instead of the classical ones.

You have to listen and learn Debussy - Reverie.
It is classical, but it has such a good tune.

Memories Of A Lightwave too, from Final Fantasy

Give them both a listen, and see.

Those are the first two that come to mind anyway. You could add your own edge.

Maybe Clubbed To Death by Rob Rob Dougan for that kind of style?
Again, if you haven't heard this, you should.

Maybe the Inception Theme, called Time by Hans Zimmer?

Or you want a challenge?

The Script, Hall of Fame

Not exactly 'dramatic', but it certainly is a hell of a song in terms of inspiration.

Well depending on your skill level, Those Who Fight - Piano Collections is a pretty dramatic song.

I'm in love with Merry-go Round of Life from Howl's Moving Castle as well. Not sure if it's dramatic enough for you though.

The Tohou songs are usually pretty fun on piano as well so those might be worth checking out. Chinese Tea/Shanghai Teahouse is a pretty cool song, can't play it myself though.

Try the myoclonic rag. Just bash your head of the piano in a non-rhythmic fashion.

Depending on how advanced you are, give Jason Robert Brown a try - he's hard to do but his piano parts are amazing and it feels so rewarding when you conquer them. If you're not into musicals, don't be put off by the fact that he writes them - the music doesn't really sound like musical theatre and no one's really heard of his stuff

Craig Armstrong certainly goes for the dramatic side of things!

I really love L'après-midi by Yann Tiersen... It's really easy but has an amazing melody!

I agree with this.

Also there is La Valse d'Amelie by Yann Tiersen. I'm learning it now.

I'm learning fur Elise at the moment and enjoying that it's good because it is slower so you have time to get your hands in the right place

Because you said songs, I assume you don't mean classical pieces and in fact mean pop accompaniets.
Imo "Ordinary people" has a good piano part.
