Hey i'm going to college to do a years course in maths because i'm doing the intermediate paper and working for a B which i'm quite confident on getting. The only maths course available to me is a AS in maths so its just for one year.

I was just wondering, if i did really good in my AS, would i be able to continue for an A2 on the folliwing year?

    Thanks.

If you can I would advise you taking the higher paper. It's not a requirement but because you'll have little idea of the higher topics then you may struggle with AS maths. If you have been pushed a lot for the B grade then I would consider choosing another subject because it is hard. However if you have a natural talent in Maths or it's you best subject and weren't really stretched to get a B at GCSE then take the subject.

If you wanted to carry it on then you'd probably have to do it via homestudy or with another college/school. Good luck.
