Media Studies question

I have to put my sixth form choices in tomorrow. I don't know whether to do Media Studies or Psychology or do a proper subject like Biology.

My parents say that it is up to me, but I should think carefully about doing a subject that so many people are slagging off and making jokes about because you will have the embaressment of putting it on your CV when you start applying for jobs.

My question is, will Arsenal do the treble?

Do Media Studies since there are so many respected Media Studies degrees out there at respected universities. Because Media Studies is an excellent course.

Do it if you want to do it. Don't do it if you think it'll be easy, and that you can get away with doing no work, because not only will you end up with a crap grade, but you'll contribute to the bad reputation that the subject has. But if you have a genuine interest in the subject, then go for it.

What other subjects are you doing?

Like the others have said don't do it because you think it will be easy but do it because you want to do it. The ones that do it because they think it will be easy are the ones that will fail it. Its your life and its nobody business to tell you what to do. Just go with what makes you happy, there is no point on doing somthing like Chemestry instead if you hate the subject.

media studies is my favourite A Level and i'm doin it at uni so i'm biased, but i much prefer it to psychology.

biology is the most respected out of the three suggested...and also its a science so its good if youre not doing any other sciences. Remember you should keep you options open, and if you want to go into Media or Psychology you need neither of them.

Albeit being quite hard, I think you will find Biology to be the most beneficial...i had to submit my alevel form in last week, and i had no idea what to put...so i just chose the ones i would probably be most likely to do, Maths, History, Physics, Art and Economics and Further Maths as reserve.
